One On One With Solomon Edebiri

On Sunday July 19th, the Solomon Edebiri centre for change: WOMEN EMPOWERMENT was launched in Ekpoma, a grass root programme aimed at empowering women in the rural areas. Chief Solomon Edebiri the brain child of this NGO contested in the last gubernatorial election under the ANPP. During the launch of the program we proceeded to ask if there was something of this nature targeted towards the young people to which he
answered of course, to be launched in September this year, a skill acquisition centre which would not only be limited to people outside but also inside the tertiary institutions and he proceeded to tell us that when the time came the forms would be available online, he further explained the need for the acquisition of skill, despite the possession of a B.Sc, to which we both agreed as employment have a major issue in the Nigerian society.

We of the uniben talking drum decided to keep a watchful eye on the matter and so that when the forms became available those who were interested will be duly notified . Rumor has it that he's to come out under the gubernatorial race under the umbrella of the PDP for now that's under wraps as only time will tell come 2016.
